Favorite Late Summer Past-Time

One thing we love doing in the late summer is driving to the feild where my dad works and looking at the deer. There are always tons of them out there. The boys love it and Ella has even started looking for them. If she spots one she starts yelling "De-ya!" and giggles. The boys sit in the back seat using their fingers as guns and yell, "pow pow!" Here is a picture we took out there a week or two ago. The deer were far away so you can't see them very well but I still think the picture is beautiful.

Ella the Fairy

Ella found her dress up clothes the other day. She insisted on wearing this fairy outfit that whole evening. She even wore it out to eat! I took her outside in the front yard before Steven got home for work and took these pictures. She's just too cute!

The Coolest Shot

I got some new equipment recently and I was trying to setup some of it. While playing with some of the different light settings I shot this picture. It was a total accident. I had the flash power realy high so it blew out most of the shot but I thought the outcome was awesome. It looks like the picture has been photoshopped to make him look cartoonish but this is how it looked straight out of the camera! Just in case you can't tell it's Mikey sticking his DS into his pocket.

Watching Daddy Play Ball

Steven had a ball game with his department at work. We had so much fun watching him play! We want him to join a team so we can watch him more often!

Gavin's learning how to ride a two wheeler!

Steven has been working very hard with Gavin. He wants to hang out with the big boys so bad! He is tired of the training wheels and wants to ride a two-wheeler. He does really good as long as Steven runs with him at first. Mikey was so funny this day, he was giving Gav lots of advice and showing him how it was done!

July 4th

Steven had to work on the fourth of July this year so I took the kids to the pool for most of the day then Steven came home and we set off fireworks with our neighbors in the cul-de-sac. It was a pretty fun day!

I know I have been neglecting you guys. I used to send you all emails at least weekly with pictures of the kids. Now it seems like life is just so busy it slips my mind. That is why I am creating this blog. As our family does new asnd fun things I will add updates. Pictures, little stories, funny quotes from the kids (because we all know they say the darnedest things!).Hopefully you will all bookmark the page and check back weekly to see what's new. I am going to go ahead and post some new pictures from this summer to catch you all up then I will post more as I take them! We are going on vacation in two weeks so in three weeks i will be putting those pictures up!
